FIRM NEWS
Associate, Brandon Heintzelman, and his wife Ashley, welcomed their first child on December 12, 2009 at 2:34 p.m. Kellen Joseph Heintzelman was born at Hutzel Hospital and weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz and was 20 inches "tall". What a nice Christmas present for them!
Kellen recently visited his Dad at work and was introduced to the staff. He is growing fast, but hasn't traded in his diaper bag for a briefcase just yet!
We started the New Year with two more arrivals....
Oh boy, Oh boy, we got a girl out of the bunch! Lily Mei Elder was joyfully welcomed to the world by her parents, Andy and Michelle Elder, on January 22, 2010. Lily is their first child and was born at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches. Rumor has it that Mommy Michelle's favorite color is pink (as evidenced in this photo) and we can't wait to see lots more of it on little Lily.
Just two days later on January 24, 2010, our Legal Assistant Michelle White, was down the hall at Beaumont with her husband Wayne delivering Wayne Scott White (affectionately known as Junior). Baby Junior (or perhaps we should say Michelle) won the biggest baby prize by weighing 8 lbs 15 oz and was also the longest at 21 inches. Junior joins a big sister, Ava, who is getting used to the fact that the little sister she wanted is a boy!!
Congratulations to our staff members on their new extended families. We expect to see lots of pictures and hear good stories for years to come!
Moblo, Fleming & Watt, P.C. announced that March 21, 2009 marked the firm's 15th anniversary. We thank our clients for allowing us the opportunity to provide them with our services over the years and hope to continue our relationships well into the future.
Moblo & Fleming Staff Supports Food Bank
This year, over the holidays, in lieu of any type of employee gift exchange, our Staff instead contributed a cash donation to Gleaners Community Food Bank in Detroit, Michigan. This organization distributes 404,000 meals every week to 455 partner agencies throughout southeastern Michigan by collecting 27.3 million pounds of food each year, typically donated from major food processors, retail chains and volunteer food drives. We raised and donated $670.00 to this worthy cause in 2008. Our contribution provided over 1,500 meals to those in need right here in our community!!
We plan to continue supporting Gleaners throughout the year in volunteer positions. Our Moblo & Fleming team have worked at the Gleaners facility in Taylor, Michigan on several occasions. Each time, approximately 20 volunteers packed 5,040 pounds of food for the needy in 2 hours!

Race for the Cure - 2008:
On May 31, 2008, several staff members of Moblo & Fleming participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Detroit. Nancy Cochran, Brenda Smith, Michelle Geiersbach, Christine Demain, Michelle White and Allison Silverstein all participated in the 5K walk event.
This annual event helps raise money and awareness every year for breast cancer research, treatment and detection. Over $3,000 was raised by the Moblo & Fleming team and the girls are hopeful that their contribution will make a difference in helping fight for a cure. The girls also thank all the friends, family, and firm vendors of Moblo & Fleming who contributed!
