Lesley C. Carr joined the firm on March 3, 2008. Lesley spent two years as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Prentis Edwards in the Wayne County Circuit Court. In connection with her position, Lesley gained valuable experience in researching and analyzing a wide range of civil litigation matters, including contract, PIP, auto negligence, and premises liability. Lesley graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and Organizational Studies. She earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2005. Lesley is also active in the community and in September 2009, she was named Chair of the Detroit City Planning Commission. The 2009-2010 year begins her third year of service with the Commission.
